Leadership can be considered as the ability to serve other individuals. Different leaders use various strategies and methods to ensure that they succeed in everything they do while serving because everyone keeps relying on the decision made by the leader. Leadership can have various definitions. First, leadership can be defined as the pursuit of enhancing and bettering one’s environment. The ability to be humble so as to afford to express the unique personality in bettering as well as improving the environment is leadership. Therefore, an individual can be considered to possess leadership quality one can make his environment better.

Secondly, leadership is as a result of influence. The ability to be open as well as authentic and helping in improving other people’s life helps in creating the influence. Therefore, true nature of leadership is attained when the people around are influenced by the leader’s life in a positive manner. In addition, a person who is considered as a leader should possess the clarity to be able to differentiate between the right and the wrong.

Hence, a person in the leadership position should be confidence to realize when wrong and should have the courage to accomplish the right thing. Although the styles of leadership differ, every good leader should help the people accomplish and achieve more than they would wish without making them fear and without intimidating them. In conclusion, leadership is the capability of discovering a problem and rising to be the solution for it.

Many individuals are always in a position to realize and talk about a problem but they are not ready to rise and solve it. Hence, it only takes a true leader to see a challenge and rise toward it so as to find the strategies of solving it. It can be argued that leadership is all about listening, inspiring as well as empowering other individuals. Leadership is, therefore, a broad concept that mainly helps in improving the social and economic life of the individual in the society.
